commitbriefCommitBrief is an open-source command-line tool that reviews your git changes with the LLM you already use. It reads staged or unstaged work, a single commit, a branch or a PR-style range, and returns structured findings in your terminal. Ten providers are supported, from hosted APIs to a local Ollama model and existing Claude Code, Gemini CLI or Codex CLI logins. There is no server and no telemetry: your diff goes only to the provider you choose. It is written in Go and released under GPL-3.0-or-later.

About Tignex
Tignex is an independent open-source engineering organization that builds tools, infrastructure, protocols and standards for developers and software teams. Its aim is software that gives developers more control, takes interoperability seriously, avoids unnecessary vendor lock-in and can be self-hosted. Projects published under Tignex keep their own names, identities and domains; Tignex is the engineering organization they share.
